Purpose of Project: To train volunteers for the MG program.
Number of Volunteers Needed: 6+
Skills Needed: Organizational and people skills.
Preparations are under way for the Spring class of 2006. Mandatory orientation will be held Tuesday, February 14th at the Nelson Center. Classes will start at the end of February and run through the end of April, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, usually at the Nelson Center.
Master Gardeners are invited to become "mentors" to the trainees. A mentor is matched with a trainee and is available to offer advice and encouragement throughout the training/internship process.
