Intern Training

Purpose of Project: To train volunteers for the Master Gardener program.

Number of Volunteers Needed: 6+

Skills Needed: Organizational and people skills.

Classes are held at the Nelson Center in Lovingston with several field trips scheduled throughout the course. Master Gardeners are invited to become "mentors" to the trainees. A mentor is matched with a trainee and is available to offer advice and encouragement throughout the training/internship process.
